The strapping Jack Hoxie starred in this silent Universal "Blue Streak Western" about a decent foreman, engaged to the boss' daughter (Lola Todd), who is falsely accused of a crime by a villain (Ted Oliver) with designs on both the ranch and the girl. The villain, in cahoots with ranch foreman William A. Steele), plans to bring ranch owner Clark Comstock) to his knees by driving a herd of sheep onto the cattle range. Released for good behavior, Hoxie is hired by Steele, who mistakes him for a hobo. Once on the inside, The Fighting Peacemaker (Hoxie's character-name is Peace River Parker) gains the upper hand and the conspirators are soon on their way to prison.
