24-year-old Japanese art student Aiko travels to London to study. There, she meets middle-aged artist Oliver, who is instantly attracted to her. After sketching her in a gallery, he paints her from the sketch and memory. Impressed, Aiko agrees to pose for him. She shocks him by posing nude which, of course, leads to them having sex. Despite their age difference, they fall in love with each other. Then, one day, Oliver sees a photo of Aiko and her mother--a woman Oliver recognizes. Oliver had an affair with her mother 25 years ago. A DNA test confirms their family relationship. He confesses to her, which does not go over well. But there are more surprises and unanswered questions for Aiko to face.
