A California production company is claiming that Seth MacFarlane stole the idea of a foul-mouthed Teddy bear for his movie Ted. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bengal Mangle Productions filed a lawsuit Tuesday stating that its 2008 screenplay Acting School Academy featured a raunchy teddy named Charlie.
Amanda Seyfried has signed on to star in Ted 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Seyfried has already worked with Ted director Seth MacFarlane on his upcoming Western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West, which is slated for a May 30 release.
