Based on "Sans laisser d'adresse" by Alex Joffé and Jean-Paul Le Chanois, New York City taxicab driver/owner Ed Nielson has to make a payment on his cab by nightfall, but a passenger he has picked up, Mary Turner - just off the ship from Ireland - becomes a very deterring factor. She is looking for her husband, an American who visited Ireland, romanced and married her, and then returned alone to the United States. They cover a large portion of the city in their search but after they finally locate him, Mary learns it wasn't worth it. And Ed still has a payment to make.

SUNNY DAYS AHEAD

Danny DeVito is returning to series television for the first time since his days as boss of Taxi's Sunshine Cab Company with a regular gig on FX's It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. DeVito will appear in all 10 episodes of the show's second season (premiering in June), although he'll shoot all of his scenes within 10 to 15 days — roughly half of the show's overall production schedule. That noise you hear is Vincent D'Onofrio calling his agent.
