In the frontier of New Mexico Territory, a bandit named Joe Baker, played by legendary Dean Martin, wants to do something big in his life and steal a huge treasure, as he awaits the arrival of his fiance, who thinks he is wealthy. To do that he needs a special gun, but the price for this gun is a little unusual- he will have to kidnap a woman for an outlaw Jonny Cobb. He will be surprised when he discovers that the beautiful woman he kidnapped is the wife of the Colonel Morgan, commandant of the local Cavalry detachment, who sets off with a patrol to rescue her and capture Baker. The things will get even crazier and more complicated when his fiance Dover McBride shows up.
