Produced and directed by poverty row regular Duke Worne, this silent Northwest melodrama starred Napoleon (who, of course, bore the "last name" of Bonaparte), one of Rin-Tin-Tin's less successful imitators. Before leaving to search for gold, Bud Taylor (Robert Frazer) presents his girlfriend Mary Stoddard (Edna Murphy) with a German shepherd pup. The pooch (Napoleon) takes an instant dislike to Bud's rival, Wade Burton (Ernest Hilliard), later saving both his master and Mary from Burton's greed.
