Leathery Westerner Harry Carey is motivated by revenge in The Seventh Bandit. Some no-good cayuse has murdered Carey's brother, and our hero aims to do something about it. A reformed gunman, Carey had vowed years earlier never again to slap leather, but this promise is bound to be broken sometime during Reel Five. The leading character is "humanized" by his bashful behavior in the presence of leading lady Harriet Hammond. The Seventh Bandit was directed by Scott R. Dunlap, later one of the leading producers of low-budget "series" films.
