Tori is a 16 year old hooker, living all alone on the unpredictable streets. Living with drugs, sex, and prostitution for most of her life, her life gets an unexpected change when a psychotic cop named Lumley picks her up on his motorcycle, takes her a few miles, and then attempts to ravage her. Fortunately, she manages to slash his cheek with her nails, and escapes with a practicing singer named Sy, who witnessed what happened. Wanting to help her, Sy becomes Tori's friend, and together, they navigate the streets, tunnels, and buildings of the city, searching for love, bravery, and a place to belong, while at the same time, trying to thwart and defeat Lumley, who is hot on their tail, determined to send them both to the Land of the Dead.
