In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. Middle school science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship light-years from home with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory returns, he begins to uncover his mission: to solve the riddle of the mysterious substance that is causing the sun to die out. He must call on his scientific knowledge and unorthodox ideas to save everything on Earth from extinction... but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.

The film opens with scenes in New York, United States, Bangkok, Thailand, Panama City Panama, and Tokyo Japan, After the simultaneous killing of four former Spanish intelligence agents involved in the so-called 'Operación Ciénaga,' Zeta (Mario Casas) is tasked by the CNI with tracking a surviving missing agent, joining forces with Colombian intelligence agent Alfa (Mariela Garriga), going on to deal with a mysterious sixth member of the operation, who is code-named Casiel.

NASA must devise a strategy to return Apollo 13 to Earth safely after the spacecraft undergoes massive internal damage putting the lives of the three astronauts on board in jeopardy.
