Hilary Swank adds another outstanding characterization to her Oscar-winning résumé. She plays Holly Kennedy, a young widow whose late husband (Gerard Butler) arranged to have 10 letters delivered posthumously to encourage her to carry on with her life. Directed by Richard LaGravenese, who cowrote the moving script with Steven Rogers. The film is an adaptation of Cecelia Ahern's popular first novel, which she wrote when she was 21.
