Billy Wilder's lesser-known brother W. Lee Wilder produced and directed this silly science-fiction film featuring Sands as an invisible alien from outer space who crashes on Earth near an American observatory. After the alien kills a few picnickers, the police take notice and, with the help of scientists Anders and Nelson, they discover that the alien must wear a helmet containing air from his own planet to survive. The intrepid scientists then trap the alien in the observatory, make him visible using an infra-red light machine, and take his helmet off, thereby killing him. So much for E.T.
