Retired tax official Willi Winzig is taken aback when, completely out of the blue, his sister moves in with him, along with her kids and grandpa. To supplement his tight household budget, Willi takes a job as a sales representative for household appliances. On his sales rounds, the good-natured slacker stumbles from one predicament to the next - but he barely makes any sales. But just as he is about to be fired on the spot, the tide turns.
