Down on his luck undercover cop Art Jeffries gets in some trouble at work and taken off the job. He is not fired though, he gets put on menial duties as the undercover work is considered unsuitable for him now. This happens at the same time a mentally challenged young boy cracks a government super code which was made to protect the identities of fighting men and women overseas. It was in a puzzle magazine, as a couple of geeks who work for the magazine put it in there to see if any human could crack it (even though computers have been unable). The child's life is now in danger, and shadowy government agents have been sent after the boy because the people overseas may be in danger now. Art however does not seem to be in the mood for a nuanced discussion on the virtues of child murder. Can he get to the boy before the shadowy government hitmen and save him from total annihilation?
