This historical drama details the incredible true story of anti-Nazi crusader Max Manus (Aksel Hennie), who helped to establish the Rognes Organization in order to drive Hitler's forces out of Norway during World War II. After being captured by the Nazis twice and escaping both times, Manus led a mission to sink German supply ships in an Oslo harbor, incurring the wrath of Gestapo leader Sigfried Fehmer in the process.
