Lord Stonbury (Jack Holt) is a despondent nobleman who considers suicide over his reversal of economic fortune. Sylvani (Charles De Roche) is the half goat-half human deity known as a faun who intervenes before Stonbury kills himself. The faun tells the Lord he can predict the winner of any horserace and helps the stone-broke Stonbury regain his lost fortune at the track. After helping Stonbury, Sylvani discards his tuxedo and returns to the forest to cavort with the wood nymphs.
