The disillusioned son of a corrupt politician and a frustrated artist who can't find his voice find their fates hinging on a single bullet in director Asif Ahmed's of friendship and longing. There was a time when Perry Roberts (Michael Welch) believed in the American Dream, but now that he's about to face the real world his cynicism is growing. Perry is about to graduate from college, and he isn't sure he knows what he wants to do with his life anymore. When Perry meets Giovanni (Shaun Sipos), a talented artist with a nihilistic worldview, he at first assumes his new friend has found a means of casting off society's restraints to live a free and meaningful life. Giovanni, on the other hand, sees Perry as spoiled and predictable. But each has something that the other wants, and as they both strip bare their emotions in a bit to form a genuine connection, Giovanni tests Perry's resolve by inviting him to participate in a game of Russian roulette.
