The Colors of the Devil
Nicolas, a talented but struggling young painter, becomes obsessed with depicting violence, death, and fear in his work. After meeting André Bellisle, a mysterious and wealthy patron, he is promised fame and success. Bellisle begins taking him to witness real acts of violence, which Nicolas then transforms into paintings. His work suddenly attracts attention, but his growing success comes at a disturbing price: the violent scenes he paints are becoming reality before his eyes. As Nicolas realizes that Bellisle may be responsible for these events, he must decide how far he is willing to go for artistic recognition—and whether his success is worth sacrificing his freedom, his relationships, and ultimately his soul.
