Jean-Baptiste is a filmmaker. Elie is an actress living alone with her child, Swann. They meet and fall in love but never commit to each other. When Elie leaves on an overseas tour, her departure sends Jean-Baptiste into a nervous depression. She returns to him, yet despite their bond, life keeps pulling them apart and bringing them back together.
