Auguste, a playwright who gathers his former lover Thérèse, her new partner Hugo, and his young assistant Esther to rehearse his latest play. What begins as a simple theatrical rehearsal soon becomes an intricate game of attraction, jealousy, and emotional manipulation. As the characters' personal relationships increasingly overlap with the roles they are playing, old desires and unresolved tensions resurface.
