David's mother brings him to visit his father in Mexico during summer vacation. His father is disappointed at how their son is developing during his teenage years, which is not the toxic masculinity he hoped for. His mother is protective, doting and appears to have developed a bit of a crush on their son. David recoils from his father's way of living, from the capitalistic oppression of his employees to his penchant for hunting. Soon David meets a cute girl his own age on the beach and the two hit it off. But she has a secret life she keeps from David--working as a teenage prostitute in the red-light district.
