Jesper Klein, who wrote and directed this comedy, is the leader of "The Klydes," a wacky Danish quartet popular in the Scandinavian countries. The four Klydes, ranging from the introverted Klein to the extroverted Jess Ingerslev, are the only actors in this comedy. The satirical skits that make up the content of this feature-length production poke merry fun at the Danes themselves, though all audiences can respond to the humor. As an enhancement of the comic performances, the four actors are joined by animated inserts. In spite of this cinematic addition, the film seems to have been influenced by the group's much-applauded appearances on television and the stage, in that no plot was written to tie the sketches together. Without a broader storyline, the disparate skits are closer to stage performances than the genre of comedic films, a possible drawback for some viewers.
