On duty at Mumbai's Lamington Road area, Inspectors Abhishek Rao and Raman are called upon to attend at an incident, but the call gets cancelled. They nevertheless decide to investigate, find suspicious activity being carried out by several men, a shoot-out ensues and Raman gets killed. Hoping that his department will investigate and bring the culprit(s) to justice, Abhishek is baffled when nothing is done. He returns home to his wife, Muskan, but is unable to get Raman out of his mind. Then he gets into an argument with Iqbal Khan, ends up assaulting him on camera, the media accuses him of harming a minority, he is suspended, arrested, tried in Court, found guilty, fired, and sentenced to jail for six months as well as ordered to stay away from Iqbal. After his discharge, he gets hired as a security guard, quarrels and separates from Muskan - but nothing will prepare him for the shock when he finds that his new partner is none other than Iqbal with whom he is required to partner and work with. The question remains: will the duo get along and work together?
