Two preteen Navajo girls are invited to spend the summer at their grandmother's sheep ranch in rural Arizona. Facing the prospect of hard work, intense heat, boredom, and spending endless amounts of time with one another, the girls begin to explore their sense of self and the depth of their bond as cousins.
