Seen in Florence, Italy, on a holiday called Gioco del Calcio. On that day a medieval football game is played. Its 27 man teams are equipped with medieval costumes. The game, which is preceded by a pageant, allows the ball to be thrown or kicked into the opponent's goal, this resulting in a brawl with rules.
