This film is based on the simple Taiwanese society in the 1950s. It tells about a group of young people's natural and complex emotions, such as enthusiasm and loneliness, during this chaotic transition period. The story focuses on four high school students, Yang Jialuo, you Fusheng, Gu Caizi, Guo Hao and Liu Guobao. In the film, they narrate and reflect on their growth with witty dialogue.
