In 1979, the National Film Board of Canada produced an animated short as part of a UNESCO Year of the Child compilation. The story follows an unwanted baby who is passed from home to home until he is finally taken in and cared for by two unexpected guardians. This animated short emphasises the third principle of the 1959 Declaration of Children's Rights, which states that every child has the right to a name and a nationality.
