History comes alive shortly before collapsing in a stupor in this short comedy. In the web series Drunk History (created for the website Funny Or Die), noted comedians indulge in some alcohol, and once it takes hold they discuss famous events in American history with their perceptions twisted by drink as well-known actors enact the stories. In this installment, Duncan Trussell chases some absinthe with a six-pack of beer and then discusses the rivalry between Thomas Edison (John C. Reilly) and Nikola Tesla (Crispin Glover), two famous scientists with very different ideas about electricity. Drunk History: Tesla & Edison was an official selection at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival.
