In a remote, tradition-bound village, sisters Tonya and Selda struggle with the restrictive social and religious expectations placed upon them. As they navigate the complexities of their environment, their personal approaches to their own sexuality and identity diverge sharply: Tonya retreats into religious piety and sexual repression, while Selda chooses a more expressive, defiant path. Their internal and external conflicts intensify upon meeting Simon, a local man who becomes the center of their competition and desires. As the pressures of their community and the weight of past traumas collide, the sisters are forced to face the consequences of their differing life choices in a struggle to define their own autonomy.
