Four best friends gather after 20 years for the wedding of a friend in their small Minnesota town. Kimberly is an alderwoman living in Chicago whose marriage is on the rocks, Caryl is a jewelry designer living in New York, Beth is a struggling career woman and mother of three, and Pat is a housewife living in Florida. The four of them reunite for their friend Susan's wedding where during a weekend of reminiscing about their best of times, secrets between them come out which threaten to break up the once close-knit group.
