Ho, Ho, No! Christmas Slasher Called "Out of Line"
A remake of the 1974 cult classic Black Christmas has come under attack for delivering a horror-themed take on the holy day this Dec. 20. "It's out of line," a spokesperson for the Catholic League tells the New York Daily News . "It's not showing any sensitivity to Christians [or] the birth of our Lord." A rep for the film — which stars Michelle Trachtenberg and Lacey Chabert — counters, "There is a long tradition of releasing horror movies... as counterprogramming to the regular yuletide fare." Wait, when did Glitter come out?
