An Italian-American couple's marriage fractures under the weight of their son's death. This world is destabilizing as it glides through the couples divergent forms of grief. The husband summons their dead son back, desperately searching for forgiveness for something we do not know. The wife observes her husband as he traverses a liminal landscape. She is left holding a loss she cannot she cannot name. It is in the lack of answers that grief holds its influence.
