• Directed The Echo (2008) which was the Hollywood remake of his suspense/thriller Sigaw
• Was the director of the movie The Road which became the first Filipino movie ever to release commercially in North America and Canada
• Is a professor of cinematography in the Ateneo de Manila University in Philippines
