• Was discovered by a talent agent who heard him singing with a doo-wop group on a Bronx street corner when he was 15 years old
• Began his acting career when he landed the role of the lead rock singer in the play Satyricon at the Stratford Shakespearean festival in Ontario, Canada
• Spent two and a half years traveling around the world, earning a living by singing and playing his guitar on the streets, in restaurants and bars
• Has frequently played mobster characters, notably in Donnie Brasco, General Hospital and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
• Has dedicated much of his time coaching actors when he's not in front of the camera
