- Has won a total of seven Filmfare Awards and is the only person to win both the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards in the same year (2005)
- In 2006, she became the first person to win both the Critics' Choice Best Actress and the Best Actress awards at the Filmfare Awards (for Black)
