• Made her TV debut playing twins Sonni and Solida on soap The Guiding Light; for which she earned a 1990 Daytime Emmy nomination
• Star Trek: The Next Generation character Ensign Ro was so popular the series' creators wanted to make Forbes a regular on spin-off Deep Space Nine, but Forbes wasn't interested in committing to another show
