During an interview yesterday with Sex and the City's Mario Cantone, the ladies of The View seemed to get a little randy with each other. After Cantone remarked that "only lesbians" can win Daytime Emmys, the next thing you knew Whoopi and Joy dove into a loving, but tame, embrace. The View May Replace Rosie with Gay Sex Star

The latest buzz in "Who will replace Rosie?" land is that comedian Mario Cantone, a frequent guest on The View (and well-known to Sex and the City fans as Charlotte's bitchy pal), might be tapped to join the heretofore all-female panel. Responding to the People tale, Advocate editor Sean Kennedy tells the New York Post, "It makes sense to have a gay guy on the show after all these years." And again, we proactively mourn the loss of all that Barbara Walters-instigated heterosexual sex talk.
