After her marriage to publisher Enrico Piacentini ended in divorce, she married French actor Jean-Paul Belmondo, whom she starred with in several films
Her appearance in a soft-drink commercial led to minor roles in films in the mid-1960s and ultimately to her debut in her first erotic comedy, "Malicious," in 1973
Originally wanting to become a math teacher, her path was altered by her parents, who signed her up for gymnastics classes so that she would "develop some grace․"
