Scarlett Johansson believes it was "irresponsible" for Woody Allen's adopted daughter Dylan Farrow to name actors and actresses in the letter Farrow published last month that accused Allen of molesting her when she was a child. "I think it's irresponsible to take a bunch of actors that will have a Google alert on and to suddenly throw their name into a situation that none of us could possibly knowingly comment on," Johansson, who was one of the actresses Farrow mentioned by name, tells The Guardian. "That just feels irresponsible to me."

Dylan Farrow has penned an open letter detailing the sexual abuse she allegedly suffered as a young girl at the hands of her adoptive father, Woody Allen. Writing on Nicholas Kristof's New York Times blog, Farrow notes, "When I was seven years old, Woody Allen took me by the hand and led me into a dim, closet-like attic on the second floor of our house. He told me to lay on my stomach and play with my brother's electric train set. Then he sexually assaulted me."
