• Became interested in acting in the sixth grade, when she chose art and theater as her electives
• At the suggestion of her theater teacher, she auditioned for her school's one-act production of Cinderella hoping to get the role of one of the stepsisters, but instead landed the lead
• Made her professional acting debut in the 2010 made-for-TV drama Unanswered Prayers
• First major role in a television series was Carly D'Amato in the American version of the comedy series The Inbetweeners
• Was advised to rearrange the letters in her last name to spell Frank, but refused to do so
