Roseanne Barr issued a mea culpa Thursday after tweeting an angry message in response to Chik-fil-A's stance against gay marriage. "Anyone who eats S--- Fil-A deserves to get the cancer that is sure to come from eating antibiotic filled tortured chickens," the comedienne wrote on her feed Wednesday. The comment drew the ire of some of Barr's followers and prompted her to apologize in a series of Tweets for the harsh language. "I shouldn't have used the word deserves in my tweet and I apologize," she wrote. "No one deserves cancer at all! I'm not that type of person who blames victims."

Laurence Fishburne Joins Hannibal
Laurence Fishburne is heading back to the small screen. The former CSI star has been cast on NBC's upcoming Hannibal Lecter thriller Hannibal, TVGuide.com has confirmed. He will play FBI special agent Jack Crawford, the boss of Hugh Dancy's Will Graham, the criminal profiler who's tracking a serial killer with the help of Dr. Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen).

MTV is dipping into its vault and bringing back the fashion series House of Style this fall, Entertainment Weekly reports. The show, which was canceled in 2000 and returned for a single episode in 2009, will begin airing new episodes on Oct. 9. The show's new host will be announced at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 6, according to the report. The roster of previous House of Style hosts includes Cindy Crawford, Rebecca Romijn and Molly Sims.
