Episode 1
Fran Donlan tips off Sgt Haggar about a racecourse heist. He wants to arrest them before the raid but Moffat wants them at the track. When the raid goes wrong Fran is taken hostage by Kevin McCann who is carrying, and willing to use a gun.
Episode 2
PC Render is up before an internal inquiry after the firearms incident at the racecourse. While suspended from duty his colleagues are not backward about offering their advice. But would it be advisable to take heed?
Episode 3
PC Quiley is bludgeoned while investigating a shop break in. He wakes to find escaped prisoner Billy Caplin holding a shotgun. When Quilley fails to sign off a search is on for is missing Panda car unaware that he is being held by Caplin.
Episode 4
Former villain Gus Haggerty is out of crime and living with his beautiful girlfriend Terri. A man in a mask breaks into their home and attacks Terri. When Gus receives a letter demanding money he asks Sgt. Lynch for police protection .

An accident down at the docks sees a driver trapped under metal drums of uncertain provenance. Will Quilley be able to keep him calm during the painstaking rescue effort?

American businessman Mr Bauer. arrives in the UK to get kidnapped for charity during in Rag Week. Bauer and his bodyguard Chuck Parker are unwittingly passed the March 11 Group who are prepared to shoot him.if their demands are not met.
Episode 7
Horses are winning races they shouldn't be. And they all come from the same training stable. Can Haggar and Bowker piece together the evidence from the stable staff to get a convincing case?

Itinerant preacher Calvin Flood is in town dispensing dubious religion to the gullible. But how do his activities connect to vandalised cars, a rash of counterfeit notes and a stolen gold cross?

Shifty scrap dealer Sammy Pat reports to DI Moffat that he's been offered 400 stolen axle bearings from rail wagons. Newtown police are sent to await the the thieves at the local train depot. It's going to be a long night.

Insp. Moffatt is tipped off that a gang may be ringing cars in Newtown. When Render arrests a juvenile vandalising a Jaguar he discovers a log book for a Fiat, sold by Milton Motors. Moffatt decides to tempt Milton into buying a hot motor.
Episode 11
John Stevens fair comes to Newtown just when a young girl was attacked nearby. When Perry Caspar is found beaten up for romancing Stevens daughter Roseanne he refuses to talk. Can Insp. Lynch spot a family feud and find the real attacker?
Episode 12
When a girl goes missing, door-to-door inquiries lead nowhere. Haggar, however, has a lead on stolen cameras, which leads in an unexpected and shocking direction.
Episode 13
PC Render finds distressed Syed Ahnin by the side of the road. He tells him that his two friends are trapped in a disused mine. Syed can't hide dislike of the police so PC Quilley's decides to find out what really went on at the mine.
