Meanwhile, Kelsey holds Thad's feet to the fire about dumping other female "friends" from his Instagram account and publicly acknowledging their engagement, which Liza fears was too rushed.

Liza is also hounding Thad to come clean to Kelsey but he doesn't. He goes to see her and runs into Caitlin who inadvertently tells him what she's been hiding.

Following Thad's death, Liza meets his twin brother, Chad who is curious why she was with Thad when he died. She says it was just a coincidence. But he later finds a video which shows the altercation between them, so she tells Kelsey what happened and Kelsey tells Liza she should have stayed out of it. Liza then decides to quit Empirical. Eventually everyone, Diana and Charles miss her and try to get her to come back. Charles goes to see her and tells her that in addition to missing her at the office, he's developing a personal interest in her. And it coincides with her reuniting with Josh.
