Peter and Mozzie join forces, worrying Neal went missing, no ankle bracelet, and question Rebecca in jail, who tips them off. He was kidnapped by her ambitious associate Jim Booth, who threatens Neal's life for the Hope diamond. Neal works out his aim is to 'audition' the Pink Panthers, the world's best thieves society, but convinces him even better is to rob their leader's office in the super-secure Kellerman building, leaving behind clues for Mozzie and Peter. Overcoming bad luck, he succeeds, Jim is shot dead and Rebecca commits suicide to avoid life in jail. Neal gets Peter to promise a safe contract for his freedom if he brings down the Panthers, pulling off the 'audition'. Peter celebrates Elizabeth's surprise pregnancy.
