Episode 1
Mike has set a challenge for Edd and is thinking of a sports car which is, German, Mercedes, two seater, 1970s or 80s. This has got to be the Mercedes SL but they are still really big money. Can Mike manage to deliver this model to the garage?
Episode 2
Purchased in Germany. Car originally had no MOT in Germany due to the lack of a catalytic converter. First car purchased over the planned budget. Restoration price includes £400 travel expense and a credit of £135 from selling the aftermarket wheels and steering wheel.
Episode 3
Mike is clocking up the miles in search of a sports car. A bona fide British classic and Edd has challenged Mike to find his most favorite 80s super car, the Lotus Esprit. This car was hailed as a masterpiece when it was released.
Episode 4
Car had failed its MOT due to faulty exhaust and rear suspension prior to purchase. Restored car brought to the Lotus test track. Sold for export to Gibraltar.
Episode 5
Mike heads for Turin to try and buy a Fiat 500. The problem being that the only way to get it back to the UK is to drive it. Will the little car make it?
Episode 6
Purchased in Italy. It broke down halfway back to the UK and needed towing back. Restoration price includes £500 travel expense. Sold at asking price.
Episode 7
Mike aims for a 1981 Series III Land Rover to buy and do up. Edd is given the task to do an LPG conversion on the old warhorse. Is he up to the task?
Episode 8
Previous owner abandoned restoration project after car was repainted in the wrong shade of Inca Yellow. Restored car tested at Land Rover's off-road circuit. Final sale on-screen was £3,000, but the buyer backed out at the last minute, according to Mike's ending narration.
Episode 9
Mike heads for Dijon, France to try and buy a bargain Citroen DS. After a struggle he manages to get his hands on one and heads back to the UK for Edd to turn it into a renewed icon.
Episode 10
Purchased in France. Restoration price includes £400 travel expense. A scratch on the right front wing was left unpainted, with Mike calling it part of the car's "character".
Episode 11
Mike is searching from Penzance to Paris for something with a bit of class. Immediatley, the one name that comes to mind, that oozes elegance, style and luxury is Rolls Royce. Can Mike make the numbers add up to meet the budget?
Episode 12
Original plan was to purchase and restore a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, but the only unit at the car dismantler had faulty bodywork. Dismantler offered the Bentley instead. Sold at asking price.
