Both the victim's sister, Tanja Gantinger (Judith Peres), and her fiercest rival, Valerie Flaucher (Gianna-Valentina Bauer), have a motive. But then Beissl's daughter Eva (Leonie Brill) discovers videos online of daring stunts with which Bennie and his two climbing friends Sebi (Benjamin Weygand) and Lena (Bernadette Leopold) engaged in a veritable competition. To his dismay, his daughter was dating the victim. Beissl is increasingly frustrated by Tom Sager's lack of cooperation with the investigators - the conflict between the two fathers is escalating. And with it comes the suspicion that Tom Sager killed his daughter's boyfriend to prevent her from running away with him. But then Jerry discovers that the missing girl had every reason to be jealous of her boyfriend. Did she stab him in a fit of rage? The search for Mia Sager proves fruitless... until the detectives discover that she is being hidden by an old childhood friend.
Episode 4

Fly fisherman Werner Brandl is found murdered in Hintersee. Who killed the owner of a log house construction company? Jerry (Peter Marton) is surprised by how little Beissl (Andreas Giebel) knows about the victim, given that they are both members of the same fishing club. Suspicion initially falls on the barbecue-loving troublemaker Lorenz Estermann (Daniel Farid Wittmann), who, according to the deceased's wife, threatened her husband shortly before his death. The detectives also have to investigate within the fishing club, much to Beissl's dismay, especially regarding the club's chairman, Simon Spöck. The deceased had botched the construction of Spöck's log house, forcing Simon Spöck (Michael Grimm) and his family to live on a campsite. Did Simon Spöck want revenge on his former friend? Or is Spöck's son, Hannes (Lukas Schmidt), behind the crime? He has recently started a relationship with Katharina (Meggie Alisa Aubele), the deceased's daughter, which the deceased strongly disapproved of. Beissl's less-than-stellar "socializing skills" also lead to some conflicts in the Beissl household, until Johanna (Ines Lutz) finally has a frank discussion with her dad.

In the Berchtesgaden fire station, Commander Sepp Breitinger is found murdered. Suspicion immediately falls on his deputy, Clea Doganis (Isabel Scholz), with whom he had clashed over differing views on equality within the fire department. Is his death connected to this? The encounter with Rita after all these years certainly leaves a lasting impression on him.
Episode 6

Baron Clemens von Mahnfeld is shot dead in his forest while hunting. Noblesse oblige is the initial principle in this case. Nevertheless, Beissl (Andreas Giebel) and Jerry (Peter Marton) discover that the deceased's relationship with his brother Reinhard (Siegfried Terpoorten) was strained, partly due to inheritance disputes. Cousin Markus (Martin Wißner) also comes under suspicion. He has been poaching in the castle forest for some time. When Jerry notices that the deceased's wife, Monika von Mahnfeld (Tanja Hirner), may have been a victim of domestic violence, she becomes the prime suspect. However, it is only when Jerry manages to gain the trust of Monika's young son that the detectives are able to see behind the castle's facade and solve the case. There's also plenty going on in the Beissl family's personal life. Beissl's eldest daughter Maria (Kathrin von Steinburg) wants to move out, and it is thanks to Jerry, of all people, that this plan succeeds in the end, much to Beissl's dismay.
Episode 7
49 mins
The day starts badly for Beissl. There's no room for his fishing rod in the new house, a daughter who wants to prepare for her high school exams in a friend's trailer, and then the news that a dead man is lying in the Ache River. With the help of the coroner, his colleague Jerry has discovered that the deceased was the victim of an attack in which the perpetrator targeted his laptop. The dead man was a blogger. In "Denz uncovers," he tried to generate publicity with scandals that Johanna had previously researched. That's why her boyfriend finds Johanna's threatening letter in the victim's bus. But because Beissl's daughter is ruled out as the perpetrator, the investigation soon focuses on the machinations of the feed manufacturer Schilling, his customer Kilian Reuter, and his village helper Martha Haas, who has been assisting the farmer since his wife's death. She becomes particularly suspicious when it becomes clear that she was spying on the farmer. But "Martha Hari" has an alibi for the time of the crime, provided by her colleague Dani, who in turn works for the extremely rude farmer Pongratz. The new member of the investigative team, Sophia Strasser, sheds light on the mystery when she makes an interesting discovery in her free time. Beissl and Paulsen both feel guilty about having missed Strasser's arrival. Instead, Caro and Max come up with a brilliant idea that, incidentally, saves a tender love affair.

The president of the Berchtesgaden Goaßlschnalzerverein, Bernd Rappenglück, lies dead in the courtyard of his bakery. The evening before, the victory against the Garmisch competition was celebrated in the clubhouse. Did something get out of hand? Ferdi Brandner, one of the Goaßlschnalzers, quickly comes under suspicion from Sophia Strasser and Jerry Paulsen of having killed Rappenglück. His possible motive: The refugee Alfons Nkmura, known as Fonsi, was allowed to lead the Goaßlschnalzer into the prestigious competition instead of Ferdl. Thanks to the help of Rappenglück and the club's equipment manager, Toni Kainz, Fonsi quickly integrated, which not everyone liked. But the baker's apprentice, who is about to get his residence permit, comes under suspicion because of a discovery. He is said to have secretly stolen money from the bakery and started a relationship with the dead man's headstrong daughter, Enzi Rappenglück, but she had been arguing with her father for a long time and had an accident on the night of the crime... At home, Beissl is surprised by his wife's clean-up routine. He should throw away his old leather jacket and his record collection, and she should throw away her parents' unloved oil painting. While Beissl sings a serenade to his wife, they experience a funny surprise from their daughter Eva.

Theresa Geiger is kidnapped at her own wedding in the traditional way. She eats a cake while waiting for her and dies. The coroner diagnoses allergic shock. Her friend Cecilia, with whom Theresa ran a café, claims that she deliberately prepared the cake in the hut without nuts, as she knew of Theresa's severe allergy. However, an almost identical cake with nuts is missing from the cold storage room of her café - did someone secretly swap it for the one in the hut? Caro, who knew Theresa, wonders who could have harmed her friend. Theresa's husband, Raphael Geiger, may not have been a perfect match for Theresa at first glance, but the two married for love. Theresa also got along well with Raphael's best friend Bastian, forming an inseparable foursome with him, his wife Cecilia, and Raphael. Jonas Scherer, Theresa's best man and ex-boyfriend, initially comes under suspicion. Did he still have feelings for his former partner and couldn't bear the fact that she was marrying Raphael? But Theresa's mother-in-law, Bettina Geiger, also has a motive: She despised her daughter-in-law and had hired a private detective to track her down. Jerry and Beissl only get a clue when Sophia sets a trap for a suspect. Jerry's confession that he's considering returning to Hamburg leaves Johanna completely shocked. After a conversation with Elli, she resorts to the ultimate measure: a marriage proposal.
Episode 10

Beissl has taken to dogs. He actually believes that dogs have no place in the police station. But Spezl is special and is in shock. His owner was killed - with a spade, as forensic pathologist Sonja Bitterling soon discovers. Werner Murrer, founder and trainer of the Berchtesgaden Search and Rescue Dog Club, lay dead in the parking lot of his dog club, guarded by Spezl. His girlfriend, Josefine Scheffler, is stunned: Werner had saved around 100 lives with his dog-handler teams and had no enemies. Mountain farmer Josef Holler is an exception. He blames the dead man for the fact that his wife Uli is in a wheelchair. And then there's Lilly Wengert, who is angry because her dog Zeus wasn't good enough for Murrer's dog team. Zeus has disappeared, and Wengert's husband, Roland, is very worried about him. Beissl quickly realizes that the dog is a surrogate child. But the circle of suspects expands again when the investigative team encounters Clara Blink. She runs a nail salon in Traunstein and was probably closer to the dead man than most people realized. Privately, Beissl is happy about Eva's passing her high school exams. But he also has to put up with her asking him: What are you passionate about? And why don't you work for free? The answer is almost more difficult for him than solving the case with the help of Jerry and Sophia. There, too, there are very human aspects.
Episode 11
48 mins
The day doesn't start well for Inspector Beissl. His daughter Maria is standing at the door, flirting with a man who turns out to be her landlord, Toni. The water in the house is only cold again, and then he's called to a mysterious death. A customer at Eveline Schober's beauty salon suddenly died during treatment. Forensic pathologist Sonja Bitterling is soon certain that anaphylactic shock is the cause. In short: The deceased suffered from a bee venom allergy. The investigators quickly turn their attention to the self-absorbed intern Kim Oleg. Did she accidentally draw up the wrong syringe? Then it would just be an accident. But then Jerry, with Johanna's help, learns that Eveline Schober isn't telling the investigators everything. Moreover, Max has already dated the attractive salon owner. A fate he shares with Adam Berghauer, who is really angry with Eveline. But is that a motive for murder? Here, Sophia Strasser sheds light on the mystery with her unconventional garbage can investigation. And then there's an ominous warning email that puzzles the investigators. A visit by Jerry and Bene to the beekeeping couple Helmut and Brigitte Bauer, who supplied the Schober salon with bee venom, sheds only limited light on the mystery, while Mario Gärtner, the dead woman's husband, willingly helps solve the mystery. To make matters worse, Elisabeth has organized a family dinner behind Bene's back, to which Toni has invited herself, and where Jerry experiences an unexpected surprise.

While Benedikt Beissl suggests to his daughter Eva that she become a teacher over breakfast, Jerry Paulsen rushes to the site where a boy's body was found. Pascal has been beaten to death. It quickly becomes clear that the boarding school student wasn't particularly popular with his classmates. Headmistress Petra Schwarz reports that boarding school was Pascal's last chance. His teacher, Amelie Michel, has recently observed a clear upward trend in the poor student's performance. Pascal was tutored by Hannah Liebstöckl, the granddaughter of caretaker Schorsch Liebstöckl, an old friend of Beissl's. Liebstöckl is focusing his investigation on the gang disputes surrounding the school's bike park. Ringleader Franz Grünberger had already gotten into a fight with Pascal over this and is left without an alibi after Max put pressure on his friend. And then there's Pascal's roommate, Ben Welzer, who is obviously hiding something from the investigators. And why are the students bullying Hannah? When Caro restores a video from Pascal's destroyed phone, many things become clearer.

Photographer Josef Märkel rather reluctantly helps his girlfriend, climbing legend Anna Falter, with a photo shoot on the mountain. As he tries to abseil, the safety hook comes loose. Märkl falls five meters and falls into a coma. The hook was deliberately removed. Anna and Josef had previously argued - this is clear to Jerry after initial investigations - and also that Anna's colleague Liz Rittmayer, unlike her colleague Tom Kerner, knew nothing about the shoot. Tom has an alibi for the time of the crime. Meanwhile, Beissl is grappling with the secrecy of his wife Elisabeth, who, to make matters worse, is also in cahoots with his daughter Eva. Beissl's investigation soon turns to the second mountain guide in Berchtesgaden, Rainer Krieger, who is suffering existentially from the competition between the "Watzfrauen" (women) Anna and Liz. A voice message on Märkel's cell phone, recovered by Caro, puts the investigators on a new lead - which fits perfectly with the observation of Caro's colleague Max. Nevertheless, the situation escalates and Jerry and Sophia have to resort to the last resort to prevent a murder.

Beissl is to blame. At the police station, Jerry proudly shows him the old pearl ring he wants to use to ask for Johanna's hand in marriage - but Beissl drops the good piece. The pearl breaks out of its setting and disappears. Where is Jerry supposed to get a replacement? Jerry and Beissl have different ideas. The case they are currently working on is quite tricky. Ranger Timo Roiss was pushed off a rocky outcrop and was already injured. His friend and superior Lena Breuniger is grieving, but admits that there was also an argument when Sophia finds a torn photo of the two of them in the trash. Timo accompanied Lena's brother, mountain hut owner Georg Geiser, on guided hikes. With his meticulous, quick-tempered manner, he made more than just friends, as Geiser's wife Andrea lets slip. But the slippery insurance broker and brutal mountain biker Raik Freimann, who has already attracted Jerry's unpleasant attention, is also a possible culprit. Tire tracks from his bike at the crime scene lead to an unpleasant interrogation. Is he the wild camper that Timo was on the trail of? Ranger trainee David Marolt helps wherever he can, while Georg Geiser becomes more and more suspicious. Caro Reiser discovers an important detail, but unfortunately not the pearl. So Jerry sets off on a dangerous climbing tour with a friend. He needs a rock crystal. Finally, Johanna surprises him in the area far too early.

Morning shock for Mrs Maierhofer. On the way to the town hall she finds the body of a man who was stabbed to death in his car. When Jerry Paulsen wants to ask Sophia Strasser to drive with him to the crime scene, he can't believe his eyes. The policewoman is waiting for him in plain clothes. And Max pushes her desk into the hallway... Sophia Strasser is finally a detective. The two of them have a tough nut to crack with Thea Stoll, the murdered man's ex-wife, and her two adult foster children Anna and Nico. Everyone gives an alibi for the time of the crime, which the new forensic pathologist Dr Phillipp Hartmann has determined. But Beissl learns some official secrets at a secret meeting with Mrs Maierhofer. The amateur detective bribes her colleague Rudi with a bottle of wine that her supervisor Grosser gave her to give her video recordings of the town hall from the day of the crime. The murdered man wanted to collect money from the Bavarian resettlement fund for his farm, which was threatened by flooding and in which his ex-wife and foster children lived. This would have deprived Thea and her children of their livelihood. A strong motive. It becomes even stronger when the new detective secretly follows the two young farm residents - to pregnancy counseling. If Beissl still finishes work on time, it is because of his unexpected new time together with his wife Elisabeth. The youngest child, Eva, has set off for Amrum to save the world. Bene surprises his wife with a home-made meal. If only there weren't the annoying interruptions: Johanna falls off her bike on the way to her parents - after Beissl had just sung her grandchild to sleep on the phone.

Geli Kreiser is dead. Strangled, as the new coroner Dr. Phillipp Hartmann tells the two investigators Sophia Strasser and Jerry Paulsen. Beissl is quite happy to be out of the house because his wife, with the help of their daughters, is looking for a new dirndl. Not for Beissl, who immediately has to question an old friend. Matthias Haller is the partner and business partner of the murdered woman, who was more feared than appreciated in the town. She filed charges against her neighbor Sammy Zweigelt and his business, which resulted in hefty fines. Even Geli's son, Johannes, admits to having had a difficult relationship with his mother, especially since he and his friend Niklas Ischinger wanted to open a business across the street that competed with his mother's established traditional costume shop. When his alibi crumbles and the detectives catch him tampering with his mother's safe to dispose of the will, things get tight for Johannes. At the police station, Max catches the new coroner clumsily flirting with Caro. And at home, the traditional costume madness is reaching a major climax.
Episode 17

Beissl isn't at all happy when a police patrol brings his daughter Eva home. Eva participated in an unannounced sit-in against a bypass, which shortly afterwards prompted the slippery local politician Ferdinand Erler to visit Beissl. And then Jerry and Sophia report the discovery of a body: Marlene Thaler, Berchtesgaden's advertising icon and the face of the Alpenkönig cheese dairy, has been murdered. At first glance, Marlene was popular with everyone, and neither her father and manager Ernst Thaler nor anyone else can explain her death. But soon the boss of the Alpenkönig cheese dairy, Heidi Schäfer, Marlene's friend Sepp, and even her father, come under suspicion. Each of them has a motive for the murder. After Marlene had gone into business for herself, Max finds a new lead after Marlene's fitness trainer Steffi tips off about a mysterious motorcyclist. When Sophia discovers that the model even had her own apartment, where a fight apparently took place, new questions arise. Jerry's girlfriend, Johanna, gives the investigators the idea of simply luring the perpetrator with something they don't have. Meanwhile, Beissl is troubled by his daughter's accusation that he's a complete square. His wife finds a can in the attic that proves the opposite. With resounding success.
