2 Episodes 2003 - 2003
Episode 1
240 mins
Chief Superintendent Walker investigates the disappearance of Diane Harwood, daughter of Lady Winfield, who has vanished after an argument with her husband Greg. He says this isn't the first time this has happened and that his wife will return when she calms down. Despite several eyewitness sightings, Walker can't seem to track her down. DCI Roisin Connor investigates when a severed hand is found floating in the Thames. The pathologist identifies it as belonging to a woman and may have been frozen at one time. They also find several large legs of lamb in the river. When she finds herself working out of Walker's station, she is reluctant to accept his suggestion that there may be a connection between the two cases. As the forensic evidence mounts however, it becomes apparent that violence occurred in the Harwood household. Determining exactly what happened and then getting enough evidence for a conviction proves to be a challenge.
