Meanwhile, Lisa's mom finds a geography test with the failing grade F on it in Lisa's room. Lisa's parents are so upset that they decide to send Lisa away to a prestigious boarding school to make her focus more on her schoolwork. Unfortunately, the boarding school is miles away and enrolling there would mean that Lisa would no longer be able to ride at Pine Hollow, nor would she be able to spend much time with Stevie and Carole.

Max suspends The Saddle Club from Pine Hollow for a week and tells Veronica to take care of Garnet.

Meanwhile, Veronica tries to keep Phil away from Stevie so that he'll date her.
