The Bee returns for an 8th series, now presented by comedian Sara Pascoe. 12 talented sewers are asked to create a capsule wardrobe consisting of 3 items - a wool mini-skirt, transform loungewear into a going-out top and a wrap dress.

Week 2 is Sports Week and in a first for the Bee the Pattern Challenge asks the sewers to make bespoke footwear - high-top trainers. The sewers transform old netball kits into a garment to wear off the court and they fit a jacket.

For Summer Week, the 10 remaining sewers are challenged to make a smock dress, transform garden hammocks into summer garments and make a two-piece trousered co-ord.

For Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Week the sewers create quilted patchwork jackets, transform old coats into an outfit to go out out in, and use old bedding to make maxi dresses.

Children's Week - the pattern challenge is sailor suits. Then the sewers turn school uniform into an outfit for after school, and finally they make 3D, sculptural Halloween costumes.

This is Music Week. The pattern challenge is a parka. The transformation starts with denim and various shirts, with added decoration to make a costume for a country and western performer. The made-to-measure challenge is to create an item of clothing inspired by David Bowie's styles and outfits.

It's lingerie week, so the sewers face another first and make a bra and pants set, transform thermals into a going out top, and create made to measure luxury men's pyjamas.
Episode 8
For 1930s week they sewers make a pair of flap fronted sailors trousers, transform shirts into elegant evening wear, and create a glamorous bias cut dress.
Episode 9
Semi final episode with a Japanese theme. The pattern challenge was a fully lined kimono. Garment of the week was given to Annie for her pink origami dress. For the first time the judges chose not to send anyone home and all 4 sewers go through to the final next week.
Episode 10
It's the final and Esme sparkles in an Ashish top. The first challenge is to make the Amorpheus dress originally designed by Esme and made famous by Linda kozlowsk in Crocodile Dundee. Transformation challenge is to make a party outfit from previous scraps. Final challenge was for a red carpet worthy jumpsuit which secured Annie the win!!
