For the Bee's 10th birthday the judges have updated the first ever episode. The sewers are challenged to follow a modern pattern for an A-line skirt, transform a t-shirt, and create a made to measure casual day dress.
Episode 2
For Sports Week the sewers make a fleece top, transform cricket whites into sculptural outfits, a la Central St.Martins, and create team uniforms for international athletes.
Episode 3
Contestants repurpose old tablecloths into stylish summer blouses for the Pattern Challenge. Later, they transform nautical paraphernalia into fashionable bags in the Transformation Challenge.
Episode 4
It's Reduce, Reuse and Recycle week, and the sewers create a quilted bag, use textile waste to create a new garment and give wedding dresses a new lease of life.
Episode 5
It's week five of The Great British Sewing Bee, and this time the sewers are celebrating India with Nehru jackets, calico and Madras fabrics, and garments inspired by saris.
Episode 6
It's Children's Week, so the sewers are challenged to make a sequined bomber jacket, transform towels into fancydress animal costumes, and create made to measures inspired by childhood photos.
Episode 7
It's lingerie week, and the sewers must tackle pyjama blouses, transformed shapewear and bustier dresses.
Episode 8
For Diva Week the sewers are challenged to make Tina Turner's iconic fringe dress, transform animal print items into lounge wear for a divas day off, and create made to measure stage costumes for their diva of choice.
Episode 9
For the semi-final, the sewers must take on challenges inspired by Balencia, Gaultier and Chanel.
Episode 10

It's the final, and after challenges including opera gloves, party paraphernalia and a draped evening outfit, one sewer will be crowned winner.
