Callie meets the Foster Family, Stef the police officer, her life partner Lena the Vice Principal, Stef Biological son Brandon for previous marriage with Mike also police officer, Twins adopted by Stef and Lena Jesus and Marianna. Just released from Juvie, Callie tries to get to her brother Jude who is still in a home with a foster father, who was abusive. Stef tells Lena they cannot take in another child, otherwise the place is going to be like the Brady Bunch and they are not the Brady Bunch. Callie catches Marianna taking Jesus ADHD medication and they are not off to a good start. After Stef meets Jude, she tells Lena they will find room for them.

Lena who is the Vice Principal is informed drugs is in the school, she catches a student and they accuse Callie. Stef and Lena do not believe Callie when she tells them she is not involved. Marianna goes to confess and Jesus takes the fall for her.
